Ingredients
  • 1-1/3 pound(s) Ground Turkey Lean
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Oregano
  • 2 1/2 ounce(s) Chopped Green Onion or 1/2 of medium onion, (minced)
  • 1 ounce(s) Carrot(s) shredded
  • 3/4 cup(s) Water 6 ounces
  • 1/2 cup(s) Tomato Sauce 4 oz.
  • 2 ounce(s) Romaine Lettuce or 4 inner leaves
Instructions
  1. Brown turkey in a large skillet. When no longer pink add dry seasoning and mix well.
  2. Add onion, pepper, water and tomato sauce and cover. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes.
  3. Wash and dry the lettuce. Place meat in the center of leaf and top with tomatoes, cheese and salsa or whatever you prefer.
