Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup(s) Oat Flour partially debranned
  • 1/2 cup(s) Gluten Free Flour average all brands
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Baking Powder low-sodium
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Maple Syrup Gluten Free
  • 3/4 cup(s) Soy Milk
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs raw
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Vegan Buttery Spread
  • 1/5 cup(s) Unsweetened Applesauce (1.5 ounces), canned, with added ascorbic acid
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
  2. Separate the eggs, adding the yolks to the dry ingredient mixture, and placing the whites in a small mixing bowl.
  3. Add milk and melted butter (or coconut oil) to dry ingredient mixture and whisk until combined.
  4. Beat whites until stiff peaks are formed and fold into the mixture.
  5. Working in small batches, ladle mixture into hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
